U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs to Host Job Fair in Panama City Beach

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Sunshine Healthcare Network will host a job fair in Panama City Beach on Wednesday, December 19. The job fair will take place at Laketown Wharf located at 9902 S. Thomas Drive from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Employers onsite will include the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, and West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

Available jobs across the state of Florida include physician, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical support professions, administrative support, finance and other health care management, facilities support and housekeeping, skilled trades, police officers, and more.

Qualified applicants will be interviewed on the spot for some positions, and tentative job offers may be made that day. Additionally, some positions include relocation and retention incentives.

Individuals interested in participating are asked to bring a resume or curriculum vitae, and if applicable, a DD214 (Member 4 Copy with Character of Service), VA letter showing disability rating, and Schedule A letter.
