VAY2K 'Walk & Roll' Happening This Week - Join Us!   

Join us on May 16, 2012, for a VA2K “Walk, Run and Roll” event being held at VA hospitals throughout VISN 8 to benefit homeless Veterans and to promote health and wellness.  The event is open to the public and there is no registration fee.  Check with your local VA Health Promotion Disease Prevention Coordinator for details on the VA2K event closest to you. Mental Health Therapies Help Veterans In Crisis (Orlando VAMC)

A program at the Orlando VAMC that is helping Veterans is evidence-based psychotherapy.  Evidence-based treatments offered by VA include therapies for PTSD, Depression, Schizophrenia, and Insomnia. Each one focuses on building skills and gaining new perspective. Full story
